It Seems there is a Tug-of-War between Dream and Nightmare

It Seems there is a Tug-of-War between 

two Teams, one of Dreams and one of Nightmares.
They are my Students, I am their teacher.
They are the Beloved of my Keepers,

Gloria, Jesus, Maria and Sanjay.

They tend the Nurseries and the Gardens,
and fuel the Economy with Dollars,
their Dolor they Exchange for the Future,
and watch their Young Children opening Doors.

Oh powerful, the poor, and the needful,

the comfortable Middle Class--is it there

anymore?--Their mano de obra has built

my Classroom and Instilled my World

with Plentitude y Poesia. Thank You!
