Lit Macho Rape: Fitzgerald, Zelda
He tried to impress her by his writing
He wrote the first American novel
you might say. And, yes j’accorde his craft fine
and intricate was worthy of its real.
But then again why was he writing well
detailed letters to her psychiatrists?
as if defunct, disposable, and dank
was Zelda the Creator When her heart
was the one he devoured for his ART.
Her wax mold was destroyed for his PRINT WoRK.
And then when she attempted to Publish
her writing, he RAGED that her POETRY
might rhyme, allude, exhibit its GOOD WORTH.
Or was it a case of LITMACHO RAPE?
