Women working hard at life and self-love.
For I am both able to care and help
and keep looking for more to make a world
that’s better for each day that I live, well,
it’s gotta to be a good one, it’s my job.
I don’t know when I became the only
one watching out for me, myself, and I.
But if that’s how it’s going to be for
a while, then I better get some poems
written. Like this one here I fear it’s bad.
A terrible and wasted time was had.
at the lines of female oppression
which are the only means I can let go
of all that I have bottled up inside.
