ANdroid CALAFIA Curses GREED Quotient Dumbth Degrees

It is the Long Short Road to the Future.

We’ve lost so much time on Disasters—Minds!

Stand up on your Toes and Look in the Mirror.

You must admit you are so Beautiful.

I admire your Choice of Fabric:  SILK….

Your Soft Tissues are so Elegant.  Wow.

Might I get a look at those Manuscripts?-

Those you Entrusted so Wonderously?

Poetry, Muse, all of your Company:

You are a Diva, In fact you’re Divine.

A many-handed Android. Sh  She Came,

And when she left she Smiled, Dignified

As she came so did she go FORTH  Un-touched
By the Mediocrity of Masters
Who suppress Humanity by Fracasos –
It’s not that they’re Evil. They’re just this MUCH!

I a Boricua Versus Naipul: These are Nobles?

Naipul                  Twin towers               Litmacho Sequence

And in that combination of evil
Which only a Litmacho would further
So stalk his Wealth and Fame on uncivil,
incredible, untranscendent, impure

Blistering against Heads, Eyes, and Love
Noble Prize Jackal selects his next Neck

Falling into Infinity: Who am I Rhyme?

What can’t be learned in School is how to mend
the ragged-edges and their carnage, Peace
that has no Precedent is worth War’s Cease.
Why else would we be born if not amend

one Stripe of Matter buoyant, a faucet
Which dispenses what it compenses:  Ruth,
for manifestness, a benevolence,
kinder Measure for a Poem that must

desist from its Same Self Stimulation
effervesced across Expansive Canvas,
a Hot Air Balloon arisen at last
forwardly frosted Ad Infinitum

who am I that I have no Sentience
and Yet I rhyme and yet I omniscient?

sustancias ajenas a su sopla: Abuela

Grande Señora Paula, my Madre,
Yo le escribo a Ústed estas lineas
que es como faltarle el respeto
Gloriosa Ojos llenos de Horizontes,
espero justificar un Poem y pedirle
una Prueba de que todo hubo para
algo, algo inesperado
de haberla Vista unas Veces Más
para llenar muchos libros con su Ser,
su imágen, su dulzura. Sonriente,
y con toda la litanía del sufrir
por ser India sin tierra menos
es la pérdida que siente el VientoAire
por sustancias ajenas a su Sopla.

A Thought, Vogue, Style: Odilia's Harlem

As I listen to Aretha Franklin,
“Spanish Harlem,” and remember those days
in La Habana when Odilia called
and woke me up before I’d left the dais.
“Be here in half an hour. Room 19”
We could sense a different way of doing
things with confidence for lover’s nothings.
Did I have like my Lady Oh, a way
to describe a Thought, a Vogue, a Style,
she’d know its weakest point and errors. IF
there could be a way to rid ourselves more
and more of the degradation of Slaves.
“I refuse to work where I can’t be WHO
I am, Spanish Harlem Reprised.” GENIUS.

Las CHicas in Harlem true are Steady.
I recall it well when I was there, LOW,
A Lowrider White as a wedding Dress.
I’d like to get married once (twice) a Day,
and linger in chosen childlessness.
And for all the little girls out there grown
Smarter with each complication, and prone.
She’s making something so incredible
of me.  She is the muse of the Sacred
Art of Woman helping Woman. “Edith,
you are so ….I see why you’re a writer.
And how being the way you are is bad
for you but works in literature.” AGAIN,
if it weren’t for Odilia now, Pains

Pains como los de Vallejo, ay de mí.
When I complained, she knew what knowing was.
A retort to stop the downward plunge of THOUGHT.
“I’m surprised when my friends have these nervous
Breakdowns…If it were cancer, she’d fight it.”
Finer points of being Ghetto-untouched,
Un-squandered, un-colonized, with Odilia.
No sentiment belongs to the gutters.
“I jogged past the dead, the cracked-out, BRUTAL.
Still, there is a part of Harlem in every layer:
As justice grows in its elusiveness,
It also becomes more attainable.
My thesis to Odilia and her Verse:
She knows all of the answers by her ART.
